“ I visit this diner for lunch and enjoy the hamburgers that was real meat. The service was great and as we ate they played worship songs which I like. I enjoyed reading the dad jokes and scriptures on the TV. I loved the decor with all the red and white with black checker. I wish they had carried the theme into the very clean restroom. I will be back. They have the best desserts too. ”
“ Happened to be in Social Circle and came across Hot Rod’s. The food was amazing, we had the country fried steak with greens and Okra, along with wings, fries and fried pickles. All of the food was hot, fresh and made to order. The owner Lisa stopped by the table and made sure everything was perfect. We got there around 11:30am which was perfect, we were able to grab a table but by the time we left people were lined up in the parking lot. If you’re in the area I would highly recommend dropping in! ”
“ 5/2/25: Back at Hot Rod's Diner for some outstanding Southern cooking! My appetizer was creamy sweet onion soup! Then I had a hamburger steak with grilled onions and then collard greens with the famous Texas Pete pepper sauce, and black eyed peas and green beans and cornbread! Everything was simply outstanding! Even the server spoke southern! And there's a boot scraper, too! 10/2024: This is a fun place to eat and hang out. Everything is excellent! My appetizer was chili cheese tater tots. I had country steak with collard greens, green beans, house-made slaw and cornbread. Very tasty! Lots of neat old signs on the walls. Banana split for dessert was yummy! ”
“ I work in the and area and words can’t explain how good the food is. Everything I’ve ever ordered is good. The chili is so good I get a bowl to eat later every time I go. Just amazing thank you for your service it’s not easy to find quality food these days I really appreciate it ”
“ The food was great! Country fried steak, fried okra and Mac n cheese were authentic southern, fresh and hot. Server was super friendly. Love the decor and diner vibe, but crowded tables and loud for conversing comfortably. All 4 diners in our party were very pleased with their food. ”
“ Brunch Burger Just 2 words to the unbeknownst But for the carnivorous that crave not one species for lunch, but would rather take out 3..(one of which's prehatchling offspring)..them 2 words have much more meaning than the unnecessary extra ones I'm giving right now Such a great burger with a view of Magnolia Manor and the Blue Willow Wonderful staff who would check on us multiple times even with 2 ball clubs worth of hungry patrons... No literally a girls softball and boys baseball team even sent us on our way with to go cups of what was in our cup without missing a beat. Ill be back most definitely ”
